Jumbled Mind, Jumbled Mess

Just,
A jumbled mess
Really my mind
Everything running together
Times are hard, sad,
Time of chaos
Life is just being thrown around
In circles all around me
Everywhere I turn
Another thing happens
Another thing goes wrong
We ask
Why me
Why is this happeningp
That jumbled mindpo
In times we need someone
To say “I’ll help you”
Or maybe “I love you”
I bend my knees I bow my head
And I realize
This is what I’ve been looking for
Not just someone
But my Savior, the King of Kings
The person who loves me
For whom I am
When times are good
And when times are bad
I’m on my knees
Just crying out to the person I need
He has been there
The whole time
With his arms reached out
Just waiting for me
I didn’t need to turn to a friend
I just need to turn and take a step
Turn to God and pray
My Savior my best friend
The person I need
He is always there.

Thankful Heart

In my English Class at school. We were asked to write a poem on Thanksgiving. This year has went by so fast and now it is almost Thanksgiving. So i really took this poem to heart. I love this time of year. We were asked the simple question: what do you do on Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for, and what does thanksgiving mean to you? This was very easy for me since i love Thanksgiving. So i hope you enjoy and i encourage you to write about what you are thankful for.
Hope you enjoy:

It is the time of the year of giving
Thanksgiving is the time to be thankful
Spend time in fellowship
Family all together with friends
Love ones telling each other
What they are thankful for
Being thankful for a church family
And the wonderful friends
Thanksgiving is when looking outside seeing the falling leaves
Feeling the cold breeze when going outside
I am thankful for my home
When everyone sits around the table
Eating dinner as a family
Telling everyone what we are thankful for in this year
My family is like a group of birds
Everyone talking over one another
Fall is like having a thankful heart
With the fun fellowship of being together
As one for thanksgiving
This year.

I hope you enjoyed this simple poem. Have fun with it and enjoy. Try to make your own. Good luck.

Bold Faith

Well, when I was on my way to Wyoming for a mission trip. I was driving through Lincoln, Nebraska, and I am just watching God’s beautiful creation. It is raining. As a lot of little kids I didn’t like the rain when I was little. I was scared of lighting and thundering. I would just be so scared I would go sit next to my mom and just cry. I was afraid of a lot of little stuff. But now as I am a teenager, I love the rain. I will just sit outside and watch the rain. It is amazing God’s creation. I love to hear the loud thunder in my room and love to see the big bolts of lightning. I am not sure why. It just amazes me to know that God made all this in six days on the seventh day he rested. I mean God created the heaven and earth, light for day, dark for night, animals, fish of the sea, land, birds in the air and so much more. He did all this in six days. Wow is that not amazing or what. Just step outside for a minute and look at the clouds or at night look at the stars. I love to go outside at night a look at the stars and there patterns and shapes. It is so cool. At a camp in Rushville I love to go outside at sit on the roof and look at the stars and often times you can see a shooting star it is amazing to see them. They look so cool when the shot across the sky like that. Another thing that is neat is sunset’s wows aren’t those amazing, the different colors in the sky and the pinks, reds, and oranges in the big sky when I sun starts to set or even rise in the mornings. I like to go outside in the cool morning and sit on my porch and listen to the birds sing and feel the cool breeze. When I do this at camp I normal take my Bible outside or just sit in silence and listen to God in Prayer. Have you ever though bout what the world would be like without animals or without light? Or even without the rain, sun, or cloud? I don’t really think I would like that world. It does not sound very pretty or beautiful like the world we live into today. I love the world we live in today it is so beautiful and so amazing.
You know we have darkness all over this world. Not like the real light in your room or outside by the sun. It is like people walking through darkness. People without Christ, they live in a dark world. But Christ tells us as Christians to be the light in the dark places of this world, and walk through every place we go like it is our last day. We r suppose to live for Christ and not be so call, “Camouflage Christian,” when you are that it mean that you are hiding yourself and not sharing Christ and not being that light in the dark places. We want to be so called, “Bold Christians,” and live for Christ everyday as if it would be our last. We never know when Christ is going to take us and we have to be ready for that day.
I heard this at camp once. The director said, “What is today?” The kids said, “A big one” The director said, “Why is it a big one?” The kids said, “Because yesterday is gone and we don’t know if we will have a chance for tomorrow.”
Now you think about this are you living everyday like it is your last? Are you sharing Christ with the people you meet, your friends, your family, or maybe even those strangers you see on the road? We need to live for Christ we never know when Christ is going to take us.
Statistics: 146,357 people die each day and this also mean about 2 people die every second.
Now for the teenagers reading this think about all your friends how many of them don’t know Christ. Have you even thought for one second that you should share Christ with them?
86% of teens that that don’t except Christ before their 18th birthday probably never will.
How scary is that? Think about your life. And live for Christ every day. Live you life like every day is your life. Be that “bold Christian.” And also remember everything God has given you like light or animal or just his wonderful creation.
Live for Christ
Be a Bold Christian

10 Things I Am Thankful For

Well at one of the camps I have been working at we often times talk about what we are thankful for. So they challenged to kids to write a list of things they were thankful for and I decided to do the same for myself and this is what I came up with. Try it sometime.

1. Family: my family means the most to me. They are the most important people in my life. They help me through everything.

2. Friends: my friends are also very important to me. The Christian friends in my life have changed me. They are ther when I need them. I know that what I share to them will stay with them and not be shared to people I don't want knowing.

3. School: my school is my education that means so much to me because what happens in school changes my life.

4. Youth Group/Small Group: my youth group and small group are amazing. I like the people in my youth group they have always been there for me.

5. The privilege of prayer: this is important to me. As you may have read in some of my other blogs prayer changes lives.

6. Home: I have a Christian home that I come to when I need something.

7. Me being healthy and family: this means a lot to know that they are healthy and myself. If my family was not here or was not health I am not sure what I would do.

8. Bible: my Bible is the best book I have it means a lot I go to the Bible when I need help or advice.

9. Music: I love music I and listen to music when I am down or even bored and don't know what to do.

10. Being alive: I like my life I glad to be alive. I am trying to live my life to the fullest since I know my life is going to end sometime

GOSPEL

Well in an earlier I stated I was going to go through what G.O.S.P.E.L. stands for. This is just another way of sharing the Gospel or The Good News of Jesus Christ with your family and Friends.

God created us to be with Him.

Our sins separate us from God.

Sins cannot be removed by good deeds.

Paying the price for sin Jesus died and rose again!

Everyone who trust in Him only will have eternal life.

Life that is eternal means we will be with Jesus forever.

Now what does all that mean?

G: God created us to be with Him. Genesis 1:27 says So God created man in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female. This means that God wants us to be with Him and to trust in him with our whole hearts. We are created for a reason to have a relationship with Him.

O: Our sins separate us from God. Ecclesiastes 7:20 says There is not anyone one earth who does only what is right and never sin. This mean everything was perfect in the beginning until Adam and Eve sinned. Then the world was not perfect anymore and now everyone is a sinner. We all fall short of the glory of God.

S: Sins cannot be removed by God deeds. Ephesians 2:8-9 says God's grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. Your salvation doesn't come from anything you do. It is God's gift. It is not based on anything you have done. No one can brag about earning it. We cannot do anything to correct what we have done wrong. Doing something good cannot remove that sin. Imagine it like a burned cake. We put icing on it to cover up the burns but on the inside of the cake it is still burned. This is kind of like sins they cannot be covered up they are always there.

P: Paying the price for sin Jesus died and rose again. Romans 5:8 says but here is how God has shown his love for us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus Christ came on this earth and he was perfect. But there sin in this world. Jesus was beaten and Jesus could have just got down and did not shed his blood for us. But Christ loved us and shed is blood so our sins can be forgiven in past, present, and future. But then after 3 days he rose again. This is so amazing to know he came back and now is in heaven waiting but one day Jesus will come back on this earth.

Think about this. If you were walking in the street and a truck was coming full speed at you and was going to hit you. Then a total stranger jumps into the road and pushes you out of the road and save you. That stranger took the impacted and died for you. That is what Jesus did for you and me.

E: Everyone who trust in Him alone has eternal life. John 3:36 says Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life. Anyone who says no to the Son will not have life. God's anger remains on him. This means that if we can trust in Jesus we can spend eternity with Him forever. Is all Jesus wants from us is to trust in Him alone and to put our faith in Jesus Christ. He wants us to serve him and give him glory and honor and praise. Now after done this no one said life was going to be easy. Because it is not your life is a test. Life is never going to be easy. But is all he wants is for us to trust in him and eternal life with him.

L: Life that is eternal means we will be with Jesus forever. Revelations 22:3-5 there will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city. God's servants will serve him. They will see his face. His name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun. The Lord God will give them light. They will rule forever and ever. This means that life will be eternal and we will spend the rest of our lives with Jesus. This does not happen after we die. It starts the moment you trust in Jesus.

I do not know you heart. But this only can come from the heart. I do not if you are saved are not. It is only between you and God. Jesus is the only way to get to Heaven. Jesus said in John 14: 6 I am the way the truth and the life no one can come to the Father except through me. He wants you. He stands there with his arm out waiting for you and He loves you.

Christ is coming back someday we do not when. It could be today, tomorrow or years from now. God has given us a chance to know him and have a personal relationship because he loves you and me.

Think about it. If you were to die today, where would you go?

Tomorrow could be too late you never know. My prayer is that you will come to know Christ before it is too late.

Bull's Eye Living

While back in youth group we talked about Bull’s Eye living and your Life Mission.

I thought I would share this.

I often times think about my future and purpose in life also I sometimes think what I value and why God made me?

What are you aiming for in life?

What is Value?

God is like a target for glorifying him. Target is God. Value is those things I see as important enough to influence my thoughts and behaviors. Think about… what do we truly value? What does the world value?

The world values pleasure in Luke 8:14 say the seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear but as they go on their way they are choked by life worries, riches, and pleasure and they do not mature. The world also values possession in Luke 12:15 says then he said to them Watch Out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed a mans life does not consist in be abundance of his possession. The last thing is popularity in Psalms 49: 18 through 19 says though while he lived he counted himself blessed and men praised you when your prosper he will going he generation of his fathers who will never see the light of life.

Now the decision is your decide what is really important. Number one what is really important in your life? Number 2 destroy what is not important to your Philippain 3: 8 says what is more I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Jesus Christ my Lord for who shakes I had lost all things I consider tem rubbish that may gain Christ. Number 3 dedicate time for your values 1 John 2: 16 says For everything that is in the world-the desire for fleshly gratification, the desire for possessions, and worldly arrogance-is not from the Father but is from the world.

Value what God Values.

What do non-Christians value: non-Christians value their own value, what others say, and goals oriented. Now what do Christians value: Christians value God’s value, what God says, and God oriented.

God created every one of us for a reason and a purpose. Maybe you don’t know what it is right now but God will show you’re when he is ready. In Ephesians 2:10 says, for we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Why did God make me? Number 1 is to know and to love him in Matthew 27: 37 through 38 Jesus replied Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind. This is the first and greatest command. Number 2 is to become like Jesus in Romans 8:29 says for those God for knew he as predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son that he might be the first born among many brothers. Number 3 is to help others in 1 Peter 4;10 states each one should use whatever gifts he has received to serve others faithfully administering Gods grace in it various forms. Number 4 to tell others about him in Acts 20:24 says however I consider my life worth nothing to me if only I may finish the race and complete the task at hand Jesus has given me the task to of testifying the Gospel of Gods grace.

Think about it

How am I going to live?

Who am I going to be?

What am I going to do?

What am I living for?

Take the time to think about these question. The choice is your.

True Beauty

There are so many people that think that they need to look good for this person. Or I am not pretty. I know for even for even for myself I do not see myself as pretty. Mostly girls will cover things up. Wearing makeup for girls is a bigger thing. They think that they have to wear makeup to make them pretty. For example, look at advertisements they will take a picture of someone then put it on a computer and change the image, what they think looks good.
God made you just the way he likes you. He wants you to be yourself and not cover yourself up. So many people in this world are in relationships with someone and they think they have to not be themselves for that person well that is not a true relationship. If it was a true relationship the other person would not care what you look like from the outside but they would like the inside the most important. What is inside is the true beauty. Some examples of true beauty are: beauty in integrity, beauty in humility, beauty in intelligence, beauty in simplicity, beauty in complexity. 1 Peter 3:3-4 says: “Your beauty should not be coming outward adornment such as braided hair and the wearing gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” Which this means it should not matter about you outer appearance like wearing the right clothes or wearing makeup. How God looks at us by our inner beauty which God should be our ultimate relationship. Maybe think about if you are living a life coving yourself up and not living for God? Some people that go to public school often times get put down for there appearances. I go to public school and often times I hear people say that someone is ugly just because they are different such as different color hair or not wearing designer clothing. Well that is not what we should be worried about. We should accept other for they way look or dress. Because that is way God’s made us and he loves us the way he made us. He doesn’t want us to change your outer self for other people because is what really matters is the inner self, who you really are and who God made you. Beauty is not about the way you look on the outside but who you really are on the inside.
